Grina Foundation is an environmental organization that brings together stakeholders working in environment, sustainability, climate action, conservation, green economy, and related sectors.

We aim to handle personal data responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws in the United Republic of Tanzania, including relevant personal data protection requirements.
We collect only the information needed to register participants, process payments, manage event access, provide support, communicate event updates, and operate Tanzania Green Summit securely.

Depending on your package, registration type, and payment method, we may collect the following information:

We process personal data where it is necessary for registration, payment processing, event access, legitimate event administration, compliance with legal obligations, consent-based communication, security, and protection of the rights and safety of participants, organizers, partners, and the public.
6. Payment processing
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, banks, mobile money operators, card processors, or payment gateways. These providers may process information needed to authorize, confirm, reverse, or investigate payments.
We do not intentionally store full card numbers, CVV codes, or complete card authentication details on the Tanzania Green Summit registration platform. Card payments should be handled through secure payment providers.

- Payment providers, banks, mobile money operators, and payment gateways.
- Event organizers, registration staff, support staff, and authorized service providers.
- Venue, access control, security, ticket verification, and check-in teams.

Registration and payment records may be retained for a reasonable period after the event where needed for audit, accounting, legal, reporting, or operational purposes.

These measures may include restricted access, secure hosting, HTTPS, database controls, logging, backups, and payment provider security controls.
No online system is completely secure, so users should also protect their email accounts, phones, passwords, and tickets.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where appropriate, restriction or objection to certain processing, withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent, and information about how your data is used.

We may contact registered participants about event updates, ticket information, payment confirmation, program changes, logistics, and related summit opportunities. Marketing messages may include an option to opt out where required or appropriate.

During the event, photos, videos, recordings, and livestreams may be captured for documentation, publicity, sponsor reporting, media coverage, social media, and future event promotion.
If you have a concern about appearing in event media, please contact the event team before or during the event.
